We are thrilled to welcome you to the first ever international convention in St. John's! What a privilege to praise Jehovah unitedly during this historic event that is sure to make our hearts "bubble over" and "shout joyfully."—Ps. 145:7.

Canada is a vast and varied country, but some say that the province of Newfoundland and Labrador is the most beautiful - filled with dramatic seaside cliffs, towering icebergs, and quaint fishing villages. The province’s capital, St. John's, is one of the oldest cities in North America. Near the city's scenic harbor, you will find colorful houses nicknamed Jellybean Row. Captivating wildlife and spectacular hiking trails are waiting for you to experience.

However, the most outstanding part of this windswept island is undoubtedly the large-hearted, friendly, and humble people. Newfoundlanders are known for their hospitable, down-to-earth nature and for the warm reception they give to those who "come from away." Discover the long spiritual history of these resourceful, seafaring people who persevered in letting down their dragnets, “gathering fish of every kind.”—Matt. 13:47.
